At A Lasting Impression Maldives, we value the trust you place in us to capture your most precious moments. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and digital media during our 2026 Maldives Residency.
To facilitate your booking and provide a professional photography experience, we collect the following:
Identity Data: Name and Email Address.
Contact Data: WhatsApp or Phone Number (essential for real-time coordination in Malé or Maafushi).
Booking Data: Your selected package, preferred date, and session location.
Payment Data: All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store or have access to your credit card or bank details.
A Lasting Impression Maldives uses your information strictly to:
Confirm and manage your photography appointment.
Coordinate meeting points and handle weather-related rescheduling via WhatsApp/Email.
Deliver your final edited images via WeTransfer or Google Drive.
Delivery Methods: Your final high-resolution images are delivered via WeTransfer (links typically expire in 3 days) or Google Drive (folders remain active for 90 days).
Client Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to download and back up all images immediately upon receipt of the delivery link.
Data Retention: We maintain a temporary backup of your edited photos for 3 months post-session. After this period, files may be permanently deleted to protect your privacy and manage storage.
RAW Files: We do not store, share, or provide RAW (unedited) files under any circumstances.
Portfolio Usage: As a professional brand, A Lasting Impression Maldives reserves the right to feature selected images from your session on our official website, portfolio, and social media channels (Instagram/TikTok) to showcase our work.
Privacy Opt-Out: If you prefer that your images remain private and not be used for promotional purposes, you must notify us via WhatsApp or Email immediately after locking your slot. Since there is no “Special Requirements” field in the booking form, this communication is the client’s responsibility.
We utilize industry-standard third-party providers to ensure a secure experience:
Booknetic: Appointment scheduling and calendar management.
Stripe: Encrypted payment processing.
WeTransfer / Google Drive: Secure digital file transfer and storage. These providers have their own privacy policies and do not have permission to use your data for their own marketing.
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you or request the permanent deletion of your data and images from our records at any time.
